Baldwin Branch Highlight: Twin Cities - Belt Shop

In 2006, Light Weight Belting Company was acquired and merged into Baldwin Belting, expanding our product offering into light weight belt. Baldwin Supply – LWB specializes in lightweight and heavyweight conveyor belting, sheet rubber and gaskets, onsite belt installations and repairs and has allowed Baldwin Supply Company to expand to the product offering into light weight belt.

“We have an amazing group of individuals that work at our location and they are all important to the continued success and growth we have shared over the last 13 years” says Sean Kowalzek, Operations Manager of the branch. “Every department, from shipping and receiving to lightweight, heavyweight, rubber fabrication, install and inside sales, truly care about our customers and are constantly pushing and striving to get better every day. We all take pride and ownership of what we do.”

The branch serves many different industries including packaging OEMs, food processing, recycling, agricultural, aggregate, power generation, paper and printing, distribution facilities and more to North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin including Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee, Madison, Sioux Falls & Fargo but there really aren’t any boundaries and will go wherever the customer needs them.

There are a lot of personalities, but we all take pride in what we provide to our customers” says Kowalzek who has been with the company since 2007. “As one of our most successful salesmen put it, ‘we show up and we care.’ That is what sets us apart from our competition. We know at the end of the day, that we have all pushed each other to be successful and have provided our customers the level of service they have come to know and trust.”

In 2021 the Minneapolis Belt Shop was moved to a 50,000 sq ft faciltiy in Fridley, MN. The move allows us to continue to expand services and capabilities to best serve our growing customer base. You can read more about the new building here: Link
