Baldwin Supply Moves Belt Facility to Fridley, MN

MINNEAPOLIS—March 8th, 2021 —Baldwin Supply Company, a leading independent supplier of power transmission, automation, conveyor belt, and other industrial products, today announces its belting division expansion into a 50,000-square foot facility in Fridley, MN. The facility, located at 5261 Ashton AVE NE in Fridley, MN. will serve as the company’s primary belt fabrication facility and will replace their Minneapolis Belt shop location. 

The new facility will be home to their dedicated belting branch operations and customer service team, and provides a significant upgrade to belt fabrication, inventory, and shop space. “This is a very exciting move for us. Our new footprint will expand our capabilities to better serve our customers and branches across the Midwest.” said Baldwin Supply Company President and COO Rob LaRue.

The Minneapolis belting facility on Washington St has served Baldwin’s midwestern roots for 17 years. The new location will provide needed space for its expanding state of the art belt fabrication shop and help expand its current capabilities that include, perforating, cleating, v-guiding, digital cutting, lacing, custom fabrications, and much more.

“The larger location provides an opportunity to further elevate our services, inventory and customer support as well as enhance our capabilities to the many industries and customers that rely on our team daily”, stated Mark Hiltgen, Baldwins Vice President of Lightweight belting. These industries include but are not limited to aggregate and mining, food and beverage, agriculture, poultry, packaging equipment, power generation, medical and industrial conveyors.
