Fargo Branch Spotlight

Although the Fargo branch opened in 2000, the rich history between Baldwin Supply and the Fargo area dates back well over 60 years. As you will see from the archived newsletter from October of 1960.

Established in 1871, Fargo’s population grew quickly over the first 20 years. This rapid growth was due to its proximity to the railroads and the area's fertile farmland. These two characteristics helped establish the Fargo area as a major player in Agriculture and eventually manufacturing.

For 21 years, our Fargo branch has specialized in servicing the hard-working people not just in Fargo, but also throughout all of North Dakota including Bismarck, Grand Forks, and Minot.

When asked about our Fargo team Chad Bennington, the Fargo Branch Manager, said, “Many of our employees, both past and present grew up on Family Farms. The work ethic we all learned on the farm is apparent in much of what we do at Baldwin Supply." Today Baldwin stocks several products to support Large OEMs, Sugar Plants, Food Production, Aggregate, and of course agriculture. From a wide selection of Dodge Gearboxes, Toshiba Motors, and Gates belts; to Mitsubishi Variable Frequency Drives and Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belts.

Our Fargo location includes Branch Manager, Chad Bennington; Account Sales Managers, Brian Otto and Jason Miller; and Inside Sales team members; Jim Baker, Levi Powell, and Luke Vessey. With over 100 years of combined experience, our Fargo team excels and grows with every opportunity presented to them.
