Baldwin Supply Branch Spotlight: Eau Claire, Wisconsin
BSC Eau Claire
Eau Claire, Wisconsin, French for “clear water”, first started as a central point for the Sioux and Objiwe tribes in 1767. With a quick increase of settlers, fur trade, sawmills, and lumber, Eau Claire soon became an area for growing industries and businesses. By 1890, Eau Claire was known as the “Sawdust City” for being the home of more than 75 sawmills and factories for manufacturing, anywhere from furniture to electric motors.

Rich Heal, Account Sales Manager, says, “The best part of working for the Eau Claire branch: Everyone at the branch is so professional and pays attention to all the details. In all my years in this business and the different companies I have worked for, the Eau Claire branch is by far the best.”
