Morning Affirmation by Dave LaRue

When I’m coaching, one of my favorite success quotes is by Peter Drucker: “The best way to predict your future is to create it." After I’ve shared this quote, I love to ask, If you don’t do this for yourself, who’s going to do it for you? Some of the questions people ask me most often are: How do you do it? How do you stay on track? What can I do everyday to help me accomplish my goals? My answer is always this: Do a morning meditation. The one that I've been using for many decades is below. I hope you find it inspirational.

I want that something to be health; harmony and love; meaning; joyful relationships; being authentic and real; freedom and the opportunity to create freedom for others; wealth; finding opportunities for myself and others; having great opportunities to coach and to lead my companies; great travel experiences and experiences with others; and wonderful stories.

Successful people have successful habits, and they stick to them. Remember one of my favorite questions: If you don’t do this for yourself, who’s going to do it for you? Next year at this time, what would you like to say about the story that you are creating for your life?
