Baldwin Supply's two belting locations include their Twin Cities Belt Shop and Appleton branch, and both have seen a great amount of growth and success in just the past year. Like Baldwin’s other locations, their Twin Cities Belt Shop and Appleton branches have widely expanded their workforce teams. Along with the addition of new employees, both locations have had a few new updates, including their capabilities and solutions.
Twin Cities Belt Shop – Fridley, Minnesota
As they come across new opportunities, the Twin Cities Belt Shop is quick to navigate with its unique solutions, all thanks to its growing team.
In March, the Belt Shop added Tom Frister, the new Manufacturing Lead for Baldwin Supply's Belting Division. Tom has several years of experience in leadership, operations, process improvement, and organizational development. He's been a great addition to the belting team!
In April, the shop received a brand new 3-meter wide lightweight belt press, which allows finger splice belts up to 3 meters wide. This new press will allow an increase in efficiency and welding capabilities from 84” to 120” now. They will be able to use this press and perform installs on wide belts in the future as well.
