PTDA 2023 

PTDA, or the Power Transmission Distributors Association, is the leading industrial power transmission and Motion Control distribution channel association. Its members are made up of both manufacturers and distributors in this space. These members believe in the idea of working together to advance the industry and educate others on the incredible value that manufacturers and distributors bring to the world. Baldwin Supply is a longtime member and supporter of PTDA. 

The PTDA Industry Summit brings together industry experts, distribution channel partners, suppliers, and manufacturers. The summit aims to foster networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the PT/MC industry.

With an incredible lineup of speakers, interactive panel discussions, networking events, and committee meetings, members tackled a wide range of topics, such as supply chain optimization, e-commerce in PT/MC, emerging technologies, and adapting to the changing world of work. These discussions enabled attendees to gain diverse perspectives on critical industry issues, enabling them to make informed decisions for their businesses.

Baldwin Supply not only consistently attends this summit, but we've often been involved in boards and committees. This year was no different, with representation both on a committee and on the Board of Directors. Toby Tobias completed his first year of a two-year appointment on the End Customer Needs Committee. Rob LaRue, Baldwin President, finished his year-long appointment on the PTDA Board. This year's board had a hand in several exciting changes to PTDA, including:

• Rolling out and expanding the PTDA Learning hub, a digital LMS system dedicated to the PT/MC industry.
• Oversight on the development of PIE, a Rich Data exchange program to help propel E-Commerce. 
• Organizing and delivering a world-class Industry Summit in Amelia Island, Florida.
