I was thinking the other day about how each day is a new adventure. There are new people, new places, and new experiences. Recently, I came across this quote by Zig Ziglar: "No amount of guilt can change the past, and no amount of anxiety can change the future." It reminded me that one of the definitions of self-forgiveness is giving up the hope of having a better past. So when we talk about the past, I like to be in the habit of asking myself good questions. I can't change it, but I can learn from it. A byproduct of reflecting is that it allows me to envision and create new goals while reengineering some existing ones. But for me, when it is all said and done, I still believe that the best habit for success is the habit of being present. So wherever you are ... be there! Embrace the experience.
