Baldwin Supply has made significant investments over the past few years to match your desire to grow your inventory closer to many of your locations. Despite the extreme supply strain, everyone felt this year we’ve grown inventory by almost 75% over this time last year. This is especially true for bearings, reducers, electric motors, and conveyor belting. Our selection of shaft mount reducers and mounted ball and roller bearings covers demand in many industries requiring bulk material handling. We support those applications with large on-hand selections of heavy and lightweight conveyor belts. Our fabrication and service teams continue to grow in reaction to customers’ requests. Many of you are challenged with labor. You have to prioritize your personnel for more important functions. Handling conveyor belts in any way takes away from your expertise. We are in the process of building our electric motor inventory in response to forecast demand for next year and beyond. Electric motor manufacturers compete with many large industries for similar raw materials. We are positioned to weather continued supply strain affecting electric motor manufacturers. All of this inventory requires investment in our facilities.

Since the beginning of 2021, we acquired a new fabrication facility for light and heavy-weight belt and rubber fabrication; Our new operation is located in Fridley, MN. We added finished warehouse space in St. Joseph, MN. We added a stocking location in Marshall, MN. We are doubling our Appleton, WI, and Owatonna, MN facilities.
